The MIL project, winner of the Yvelines General Council's "Urban Vehicle - City of the Future" call for projects, was presented on October 7, 2013. It brought together MUSES, INDUCT and LIVIC (an IFSTTAR laboratory) to implement two automatic functions with a 100% electric Mooville vehicle:

  • Automatic valet parking for driverless vehicles.
  • Platooning enables a single driver to move an entire fleet of vehicles. A robotic arm, an integral part of the Mooville vehicle, links the vehicles together to form a train. Each vehicle adapts its behavior to that of the lead vehicle, ensuring monotrace tracking.

CAR&D has designed trajectory tracking control laws providing for redundancy, with :

  • A loop using the leader's steering information
  • A loop only internal to the following vehicle.

360° R&D, the magazine of the Association des Structures de Recherche sous Contrat (ASRC) publishes a feature on CAR&D in its March 2014 issue 5.

  • Introducing the Pariss v2, an all-electric, dual-motor, 4-wheel drive, carbon fiber chassis, F1-type suspension, to which CAR&D made a major contribution!

  • The driverless Navya Arma in service in Bordeaux! CAR&D is proud of its contribution to the design of this autonomous shuttle, 3 examples of which were demonstrated at the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) 2015 world congress.

  • The Iguana Boat 24' amphibian boat can be sailed at speeds of up to 35 knots thanks to its 250 HP outboard motor, but also on land with its extendable tracks.

  • [CES 2023] Our client dSPACE Gmbh presented at the 2023 CES in Las Vegas the Roof-Top-Box with its own Autera computer inside

  • CAR&D is proud to have helped the excellent start-up Stanley Robotics develop its parking valet in service at CdG airport terminal 2 E and F.
