Demonstrators

A demonstrator is an original vehicle fitted with the primary functions initially targeted, but not necessarily with the final components and/or final proccess and secondary functions.

This method is very favorable because it is cheap, fast and efficient. Then it must be followed with the study and the manufacture of pre-series vehicles, as it is shown in the chapter "Production".

It is thus the opposite of the "mule" concept, which is an existing vehicle fitted with the new component, for instance a new engine.
